Thursday, April 14, 2011 Discipline: Teen Fist Fights Can Result In Death It is tempting to think "kids will be kids; boys will be boys." While most of us would prefer for young people to settle their differences without resorting to violence, some ask how much harm can a fist fight produce? In this case it was an innocent 12-year old bystander who paid the ultimate price. It was a car this time. It could have been a weapon or other cause. This is an example of why we discourage fighting...as well as being a spectator at a fight... These scenes quickly become volatile.
